[ Gintoki definitely stayed as long as he could in Olivia's room, which probably wasn't a full night's rest— he was a restless individual and hardly got decent sleep anyway since he had so many nightmares.
Though, he is able to find a piece of paper and a utensil to write with that he leaves on her bed with the cloak he was given the other evening. It's all in Japanese, but maybe with the magics of this world she'll be able to understand: ]
Sakura-san,
Your company was very nice. Without your help, I may not have made it past another day.
Keeping your heart open is not an easy thing to do, in fact, a lot of people have trouble with doing it. [ Speaking from personal experience. ]
I think you'll find an important place in this world we've been brought to. Thinking otherwise is just stupid.
Never give up.
-- 坂田 銀時 Sakata Gintoki.
(Mr. Fruit.)
[ So he was stretching the truth about the whole "I may not have made it past another day" talk, but hopefully it'll make her feel encouraged, which was his ultimate goal. ]

Hey, Olivia! If you're not busy, do you think you could meet me in the lobby of the Abel for a minute?
Everything's fine! I'll meet you by the reception desk.
[Whenever Olivia makes her way to the lobby, she'll find Lea leaning against the wall near the desk. He's dressed in his usual black coat, but he's wearing a bright yellow scarf.]

Ah, you like it? [He grins, plucking at the scarf.] I used to wear scarves a lot, until, ah... Well, work had a pretty strict dress code, back home, but I don't have to worry about that anymore, so I figured why not pick up where I left off? Besides, it's gotten kinda chilly lately.
Anyway. [He stoops down to retrieve a small parcel by his feet. He offers it to Olivia with a slightly awkward smile.] Ah, here. I, ah... I know this is a festive time of year and all, so I thought, why the hell not, right? [It's wrapped in linen paper and tied with a thin strip of leather, but... well, they don't exactly have festive wrapping paper and curling ribbon in Chantes. It's close enough, though.
[Remembering how adamant Riku had been about gifts having a card attached, he's slipped one into the leather cord here. If Olivia opens it, she'll find his scrawly handwriting inside, the letters done in charcoal:
Olivia,
I'm glad we bumped into each other that day in the forest. I saw this and it made me think of you, so Happy Christmas!
--Lea
[Inside the package are two small hair combs, each with little flowers on them, and they jingle softly with tiny bells.]

[She suddenly looks like she might cry, and Lea waves his hands, shaking his head a little.]
A-ahh, you don't-- I wasn't-- [He doesn't know what to do when people do this! But when she thrusts the box back at him, he frowns a little. He doesn't look hurt, exactly, just confused. Too much? It isn't like they were super expensive or anything. He shakes his head again.] Sure you can. They're for you, I got them 'cuz I thought of you when I saw them, with the little bells... [He ventures a watery hint of a smile.] That's what this kind'a holiday's about, you know? Remembering the people who're important?
[He offers the box toward her again, his smile a little less hesitant.]
You're the first friend I made, here. That's... that's important!

[A wrapped present appears in a place she'll easily find it, with a note attached.]
Olivia,
This is yours, there hasn't been any mistake, so please accept it.
You might not know me, but I deliver gifts to people around this time of year.
Especially for people like you, who can live so kindly with an open heart.
That isn't an easy thing to do, and I'm sure it's been difficult.
But the fact you manage to do it just shows how strong you are, even if you don't believe it.
I hope it will help keep you as warm as you are to other people.
Love,
Santa.
[It's a coat. Please don't freeze to death Ollie.]

[ there is somebody trying to break into your window tonight... like, if this window doesn't open up, they're going to break the glass part window.
Just watch. ]

[ How did he get up that high on the roof anyway? Who knows, but Olivia will probably recognize the stark white hair, but he's wearing something a little different. The window finally gives halfway, enough where his voice is heard, a small shit muttering under his breath as he continues to pry it open...
and when he looks up, dead fish eye gaze lies on the knife that is aimed right at him.
... ]
—Ha ha ha. Merry, uh, Christmas.
[ Gintoki, it's hohoho?? He doesn't sound jolly at all— more tired than anything. Anyway, he's got a brown sack over his shoulder and half of his body is already in the room, the rest still on the rooftop. It's a smalle bag, but you know. It'll do. ]

I'm not Mr. Fruit.
It's me, the spirit of Christmas. [ He wipes his nose along the back of his hand. ]
You know, the big guy. King of all Christmas-y crap. Oi, you know'em and love'em, the one and only— Sakata Clause.
[ He drags the rest of his body in and sits on the window with his butt out, scratching lazily at his stomach after he puts the bag down on the floor. ]
Where's my cookies? And milk— strawberry milk.

[ Oh? She's not playing along? Well, that's fine, he guesses. He does manage to keep his voice low, looking at the sleeping other person that's in the room.
Hm. ]
It's fine. Sakata Clause-san is nice--! If there are no cookies, there's still something for you in here.
[ Oh. Look at him go. He's rummaging through the bag, completely playing the part. ]

[ Gintoki looks up, keeping is hands in the bag but not exactly revealing her gift just yet. Curious, his lips purse together. ]
What kinda fruit bars .. —?
What kinda fruit bars .. —?
[ She looks so tired..? Goodness. He probably shouldn't keep her up too late, then. He waves a hand, dismissing. ]
Sakata Clause-san has an ass of iron, just like his will. I can sit like this for days— not even moving. Not even to go pee. I'm .. — magical, and all of that.
[ Fruit bar sounds nice, though. He was kinda getting hungry. He's just looking at Olivia, expectantly— and the second she goes to get him a bar, if she does, his eyes will wander elsewhere. You know how that goes. ]

Aaaah, I will. [ breaking into people's windows isn't easy work (why didn't he just use the door ... ? )
Anyway, Gintoki puts the plate on his lap and begins to nibble at them .. before out right scarfing them down without any manners. Maybe he was hungrier than he seemed.
He licks a few crumbs off of his fingers and begins on the next one. ]
Christmas is a time of giving. [ He says this, like she doesn't even know. The way she reacted in response to wanting milk and cookies, well. He figured she probably didn't celebrate it. ]
